I have two sons old enough to appreciate single malt. One of them has a son old enough to like single malt. All three came to visit last week. I provided the malt. I will hit the street with a tin cup shortly.

Cheese & fish seem to have gotten absurdly expensive. And booze! I spent over $100 in the liquor store today, and I am not a drunk.

Yes, Q. It's shocking. When I see the prices at the grocery stores I cringe when I think of young families trying to feed their kids and make ends meet. It's just not right in this country in this day and age.

Haven't looked at prices of rooms (er shrooms) when I buy them. Too scary. ALL food prices are up, the penality I have to pay if I want to continue eating.

Tried to resurrect a thread of late but maybe the filter isn't up to snuff yet.

SHROOMS at the Coop! $1.98 a pound! from right here in New Brunswick. The best elsewhere is on sale at Sobeys this week at $2.98 a pound which is the best for years until now. I am gonna be frying and freezin shrooms ALL day tomorrow. Seriously, I am talkin POUNDS of shrooms... spaghetti, pizza, lasagna, soups, garnishes for steaks and burgers and...

What are you payin fer shrooms?
