The more I read, the more it sounds like online Tupperware parties where 'being there' is more important than the benefits. Kind of social networking with decor on the walls.

There are concerns about copyright issues and Pinterest. Images put up on various boards (probably in good faith) can then be 're-pinned' onto other boards with no acknowledgement of the original person's work. If you google pinterest+copyright you can spend a lot of time reading all about it.

I looked at it and don't have much interest in Pinterest. It looks like a whole bunch of ads. I haven't joined, perhaps the view changes, but it seems so many friends post their Pinterest items to facebook that I see enough of it there.

I could run 3-4 of those boards by myself!

I have screensavers, quotations, cartoons, music, maps, scientific discoveries... and many odd bits of this & that.
