That sounds like a fantastic idea!

While you computer know-it-alls are on here, do anyone of you know how I can get my default sound thingie to stop beeping? It did this once before, I hit the start button and it quit. Tonight it started after I started listening to the prgram and now it won't stop. I went into my control panel and chose "no sounds", but I can still hear it in my hard drive...a little tiny mouse squeak. Any ideas? Shutting it down didn't stop it, either.

Oh, by the way, the above post was me Max using Bert's cookie. But bert just had a good idea that we can distribute a CD with all the episodes on it. Great Idea. I'll think about this one and let you know.

Well, the average show is about 45MB, so it is not really reasonable to download. Though, you can go to http://media.mudcat.org and hold the shift key down on episode7.rm or any other .rm file and it will download. I'm still thinking of other ways, but with what technology is right now, we have few options. Call your phone company and start asking about DSL or call your cable company and ask about Cable Modems. All the big companies, Microsoft and AOL, ATT etc, want you to have more bandwidth, so it should be available soon. Hang in there (you're not missing much).

I got the picture, but no sound. Forgot I didn't have the Real upgrade on my laptop, so didn't catch the show live. I downloaded the upgrade and then went to the archived version, which played great, but didn't have sound. What did I do wrong? moonchild

Hi, Max, haven't seen hide nor hair of you in the threads, but saw a great picture of you from the Getaway.

Just realised it's Wednesday night, a few minutes before regular broadcast time for Mudcat Radio and wanted to let you know, in the few weeks it's been on, I've relaly come to look forward to it.

I know you are probably swamped and up to yer ears in tapes, work, etc., so I don't expect any rabbits out of the hat in the next half hour, but wanted to let you know you, Bert, Howie, the others and the show are missed tonight.
