I broke nearly every damn bone in my body one time or the other, leg, arm, back, neck, ankle, wrist, jaw on and on.. last time I broke a leg, I was alone in the bush .. that sucked. Made it back OK but ouch .. Linda doing real good today up and about with a cane and cast

It is funny Spaw, cause now I gotta dust, sweep cook, laundry ... after I said, gosh it is going to be good this summer not doing everything.

kill me now I say ... we been laughing, what else can ya do .. Soon as school was out I got ... OH boy after last summer I can finally do my long bike rids again .. then the charlie brown ahhhhggrrr   ouch ouch. In my most sincere voice I said, spit on the ground and rub some dirt on it ... maybe just a bruise as I was getting my car keys ..
heard it pop .. i knew bike riding was over for the summer but didn't tell her that. I figured the doc can get that job.. and he did

Not a good start for the day.

With regard to my mother's front steps? Well, she's 94 and uses a 4-wheeled walker, has a terrible sense of balance, and some time ago I added railings, and mini-steps which reduced the step up and down from 10 inches to 5 inches. There was just a big 5' by 3 ' slab of granite there and plenty of room for two mini-steps. She may still take a tumble there, especially when she's in a hurry, and I probably should make a ramp. I also installed "door pulls" on the door frames at each side for her to grab onto. Once they're used to prowling around in the "jungle" it's hard to keep the old folks in!

Lemme see if I got this straight:

Your wife was riding a bicycle down the steps and tumbled over the handlebars, breaking her knee and leg, while on her way to visit your Mom.

That's about it, right?

Were these stairs inside the house or out?

It'll be fun popping the bubbles. Do it right and you can play music, popping the bubbles on bubble wrap.

At least she well enough to be irritated -- both of them.
