Subject: RE: BS: One Hand Washes the Other... From: Bobert Date: 11 Jul 12 - 07:15 PM I am as well, leeneia... I didn't realize just how big it was but turned out to be about 20 feet long... They are coming back on Saturday morning to take out another tree and I'll be fueled up and ready to pitch in... Ain't like I'm expecting anything... I just like the guys and they are already calling me "bohejyo" (sp) which I have let them know is fine with me... It is Spanish for "old man"... When I was in business I had two Hispanics working for me and that's what they called me... B~ |

Subject: BS: One Hand Washes the Other... From: Bobert Date: 10 Jul 12 - 08:40 PM Seems that I learned this lesson a long time ago but never heard "One Hand Washes the Other" until an older women client said it when I was in social work... Her name, Matilda Hiezmann, a survivor of the Holocaust... Very simple concept... So this afternoon there were 3 Hispanics cutting up downed trees for our neighbor so I hopped on my tractor, rode it over to where they were working and used it to push and pull and saved them a days worth of work in a couple hours... After they finished over there they came to our house where a monster branch was still on roof, set up a ladder and went up and not only got it off the house but used a blower to clean off the roof entirely... I offered to pay them... All three held up their hands in a manner that said, "No"... How about your stories??? B~ |
