Yesterday I thought I was too tired and cranky to join a group in carol singing, but then I thought, when I'm dead, I'll have plenty of time to do nothing. So I went, and the DH joined me. It was lovely.

Can you believe the Presbyterians had a dumbek on hand for the DH to play on "Little Drummer Boy"? (He was going to use an upended wastebasket.)
