Subject: RE: Princeton Traditional Music Festival From: Larry The Radio Guy Date: 05 Feb 18 - 07:57 PM I've been there, performed there, 'audiented' there, and partied with the best of them (and probably the worst, too). A wonderful experience! There's not another festival like it! |
Subject: Princeton Traditional Music Festival From: Jon Bartlett Date: 05 Feb 18 - 03:14 AM Date: August 17-19, 2018 Title: 11th Annual Princeton Traditional Music Festival Location: Princeton, BC Canada. Princeton is about 300 km (200 miles) E of Vancouver (about a three-hour drive through spectacular landscape). A free festival, and entirely volunteer-run, open to all performers of traditional music. Two outdoor stages, one indoor. The festival starts Friday night with a free public dance in the town square (this year it's English country dance!). Presentations, workshops, concerts, panels, from 10am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday. About 120 performers. Glorious countryside (semi-desert, mountains), an ideal vacation spot, too. Email: princetonfestival@telus.net Weblog: www.princetontraditional.org Cheers! Jon Bartlett Festival Coordinator |
