Subject: RE: BS: Wildfires in Colorado From: Donuel Date: 10 Sep 20 - 02:31 PM Oregon sent firefightrs to CA and placed everyone on new rules of NO electric or gas mowers or vehicles in the dry areas but to no avail Oregon has large fires now. Washington State has lost towns to fire already. On the bright side you don't have to start a fire to make Smores. You just need an extra long stick to toast your marshmallows. |

Subject: RE: BS: Wildfires in California From: Donuel Date: 10 Sep 20 - 02:16 PM Just the CA fires have grown from Rhode Island size to Connecticut size. San Francisco skies are bright ORANGE. The fire there equals the last 12 fire seasons combined. All Oxygen consuming fires helps the longslide down for global oxygen. Don't worry we can still survive on 19.5 % O2 The oceans however have dropped by 2% |

Subject: RE: BS: Wildfires in Colorado From: keberoxu Date: 09 Sep 20 - 08:31 PM Southwest Colorado, according to my friend there, woke up this morning to snowfall, which in early September is relatively unusual there. They will take it gladly, though, because this follows record high heat as well as the fires issue. Again, my friend's part of Colorado doesn't actually have the fire, the fires are elsewhere in the state. Regardless, "The last couple of days, the smoke has been so bad that the sun and moon were yellow and visibility was limited." |

Subject: RE: BS: Wildfires in Colorado From: keberoxu Date: 20 Aug 20 - 06:19 PM My friends in Durango are in little danger, knock on wood, from the fires themselves. The smoke, however, has changed sunny days into days which appear overcast because the heavens have a ceiling of smoke. And it messes with allergies as well, they tell me. |

Subject: RE: BS: Wildfires in Colorado From: keberoxu Date: 18 Aug 20 - 11:14 AM That one fire sounds really awful -- breaking all sorts of previous records for Colorado wildfires. I know people in Durango, and the fire is not there, however they are painfully aware of how close it is. |
