But I'm still sad that I was in your town and didn't know it and didn't meet you, Megan.

Wikipedia has a "disambiguation" page about Mudcat:

But hey, it fails to mention the Marysville Mudcats which were renamed the Feather River Mudcats. The minor league team was founded in 2000 and played two seasons. There is no joy in Marysville......

But the Mudcat Café started out as a Blues site named after a small catfish from the Land Where the Blues Began in the Delta region of Mississippi. And of course, we all know that Robert Johnson made a bargain with the Devil at the Crossroads in Clarksdale, Mississippi at the intersection of US Highway 61 and US Highway 49 - not far south of Memphis.

And now, aren't you sorry that you asked???

Get your kids to tell you about Google: Mudcat: it started with the fish, and Mississippi delta blues.
