Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Steve Gardham Date: 02 Dec 25 - 02:47 PM Rod has had a fall and is recovering from this, which would explain some of the mystery, but emails bouncing I don't know about. I could understand him not replying yet to emails but don't understand the bouncing. I hope he recovers quickly. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Steve Gardham Date: 01 Dec 25 - 03:24 PM You're doing a grand job, Reinhard. A lot of researchers are very grateful for what you do. I use you MN site regularly when making the discography for the books I have published. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Reinhard Date: 01 Dec 25 - 03:17 PM Howard, the MusTrad site still belongs to Rod. I do have a hopefully complete mirror running in a subdomain under Mainly Norfolk (except for the search functionality which is external) and I'm ready to offer the contents if and when Rod won't or can't continue. But I will not push him aside. Since I haven't heard from him since early last year I was concerned when the MusTrad site ran into problems last Friday; that's why I asked if somebody knew how to contact Rod. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Steve Gardham Date: 01 Dec 25 - 02:33 PM Rod is still running the main website, and it was Reinhard who made the initial post. His emails are bouncing. That's the worry. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: GUEST,Howard Jones Date: 01 Dec 25 - 02:17 PM I don't think Rod is involved any longer. The online magazine was taken over by Reinhard Zierke, who also runs "Mainly Norfolk", and MT Records has been taken over by Mossy Christian, who has also taken on the Veteran label formerly rung by the late John Howson. This was explained in Rod's Editorial of 11.2.21, which is now available again. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Reinhard Date: 30 Nov 25 - 02:05 PM Sorry for the typo in the URL, guest. And somebody responsible has noted the outage - after two and a half days, www.mustrad.org.uk seems to be back working. |

Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Stilly River Sage Date: 30 Nov 25 - 09:08 AM Viewing this site through https://www.websitedown.info/mustrad.org.uk the site is down. Viewing it via the Internet Archive the last screenshot they made was on October 5 of this year. You can view parts of the site through that portal. |

Subject: Musical Traditions site down? From: Reinhard Date: 28 Nov 25 - 02:53 PM The site mustrad.co.uk shows an error message since this morning. I tried to alert Rod Stradling with an email to his address that worked in January but it bounced as undeliverable. Does anybody know how to reach him? |
