Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Walter Pardon From: Vic Smith Date: 06 Apr 26 - 02:51 PM Reinhard is right. We need soneone to take the reins where Rod Stradling left off...... but where is someone with the commitment, skill, ability, knowledge and enthusiasm that Rod brought to the job. It's a big ask. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Walter Pardon From: r.padgett Date: 06 Apr 26 - 02:20 PM Thanks Reinhard ~ good to know ~ Walter had a number of vinyl and CDs made and a lot of notes (I have) ~ yes I got the impression Veteran records would do some thing towards archiving/making the material available Onwards with your sites! Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Walter Pardon From: Reinhard Date: 06 Apr 26 - 01:42 PM A copy of Rod's site is at https://mustrad.mainlynorfolk.info/, so Walter Pardon's lyrics are available. From my point of view this site copy is a stopgap to keep the contents available; I'm busy enough with Mainly Norfolk - which has a somewhat different focus as a combined discography and song index - to do more with it. Others have shown interest though to have it available as a living site open for expansions and I believe they will in due time reopen it at the old address. |
