Subject: RE: guitar chords, britches full of stitches From: John in Brisbane Date: 08 Mar 00 - 08:31 PM Not only was it the easiest request but I completely stuffed up my answer. You wanted the chords? Here they are (my interpretation):
Bill Sullivan's Polka
F#m D | A D | A D | A F#m |
Britches Full of Stitches
F#m / | E F#m | / / | E A | F#m / | E A | F#m / | A / :| The / indicates a repeat of the previously named chord. The :| indicates that you repeat the tune (and all chords) either back to the start of the piece OR the previous occurrence of |: I think you'll find with both pieces (but particularly Britches), that the actual chord arrangements could vary quite considerably. If you are playing with a BASS player you'll need to work through this to get agreement, but the above will work just fine.

Subject: RE: guitar chords, britches full of stitches From: John in Brisbane Date: 08 Mar 00 - 07:35 AM Nancy, this is the easiest request ever. You'll find them at the following site http://www.gre.ac.uk/~c.walshaw/abc/index/split.html
They are in ABC format. If you need help in getting them to a format you can listen to or to print in conventional notation just give a yell back here.
Regards, John
For 'britches' you can also try 'breeches'. |
