Subject: Gardener Child From: nsellars@ou.edu (Nigel Sellars) Date: 28 Nov 96 - 08:23 PM I'd like to find intelligible lyrics to the song "The Gardner Child" -- as done by Ewan MacColl and Jean Redpath variously -- as my records are a little garbled and the Scots dialect is a little thick on both versions. I have heard that the House Band have recorded it as well. Anyone out have an Anglicized version? |
