I was there for blues week! Won't be back till next year! School now plus it's a long ways! That is the hilliest campus I've seen as well! On top of that, they had me in the dorm hall (they claimed it was a faturnity house) that was out of the way of everything! It was the only one with air conditioning though.

I think it's a West Virginia state law. Where you want to be is always uphill from where you are.

I've noticed that no matter where I am going, I am always walking up hill. How do they do it?

Have a great time! It's a beautiful area, especially in the Fall. I won't be going, but I have been there for 4 Irish Weeks in the summers. BTW, there is a beer store within fairly comfortable walking distance from campus, although the return is ALL uphill.

I am going to Augusta Heritage Centre at Davis & Elkins College in Elkins WV from Oct 22 - 29. for their annual Old-Time Week.
It is a week of learning and Jamming for fiddlers, Banjoists and Hammered Dulcimerists.
Are there any Mudcatters going to this event. If you are could you post to this thread, and we can arrange a get together.
