Alison - you're not going to request "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny..." are you?
And Aine if you are facing rising creeks, barefoot is best.

Jeans, t-shirt and bare feet will be the dress de rigeur tomorrow evening around here . . . sorry, but I've never been able to wear cowboy boots - would you believe English riding boots are as close as I can get? Anyway, I'll be there with bells on, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise!

This is not going well. Three naked women and me in mourning. At this rate Cletus will request "Dance Ballerina Dance" and Spaw "June Is Busting Out All Over".Poor Dave.

Uh, what would we have to do to get BareNakedLadies? uh, let's retract that question, before Cletus sees it.

Irish linen headscarf gets me the Irish music, and I still don't have to dress!

Mary, you mean I have to put some clothes on other than white socks?

I had suggested Catspaw take Cletus to the cleaners but from what I understand they had a horrible experience there.
Unfortunately I won't be around Thursday evening to attend, I hope the evening is a wonderful experience.

I am suggesting a more sedate attire for tomorrow night's festivities. I have dragged out my corset and bustle and intend to stuff myself into a Victorian ball gown in the hopes that Dave will be inspired to add a few Gay Nineties classics to his agenda. Black satin - rather austere and complemented by an assortment of ebony mourning broaches and pins formed from the dearly departeds' hair.

For those of you awaiting sea shanties, perhaps a parrot and wooden leg are in order. Appalachian ballads - barefoot and corn cob pipe. You get the idea. Show the man what you want to hear.

Special note to Spaw - if Cletus is planning an attending, you need to be there too. Little Neo and I had some difficulties last week. And feed him grits or gruel NO POSSUM. No need to explain, I think.
