Subject: RE: Free software? - Click here From: MudGuard Date: 16 Nov 00 - 06:54 AM Zebedee, it is not the missing http: that's causing the trouble as most browsers use http as default protocol if none is given. But you have to tell the browser it is an absolute link by putting two / before the address. Without a / the link is relative to the current file, with one it is relative to the current webserver. Subject: Free software? - Click here From: Zebedee Date: 15 Nov 00 - 05:39 PM I spent a long time wordering how moral it was to supply this link, and whether I should or not The fact that I'm doing so betrays my answer. Go to astalavista.box.sk and find ways of getting expensive software free. Not all the solutions work, most of them make the software run very slowly etc. If your going to use something a lot, buy it. If, however, you only use something occasionally, the 'cracked' solutions here may be useful. Ed |
