Over here, we learn to never say sweet and bread that close together.

I never knew what good tea was before my time over there, and I never did understand how ours could be so bad.

I guess it's a matter of taste. You're used to coffee and steak a la United States and our stuff isn't the same to you. As for me I don't think you can beat a juicy Aberdeen Angus as sold by our local butcher. I've heard tell that you can't get a decent cup of tea in the Usa and that the bread is far too sweet. I can't comment as I've never tasted either in the USA

Ed Miller, The U of Texas professor and Scottish folkie has a big-time commercial.

Ed, or someone with an identical voice, is selling something called "Irish Sirloin" for Bennigans.

I caught the one minute spot on "Millionaire", replayed it several times and that unmistakable brogue was, sure enough, selling irish beef for an American chain.

Probably no big deal, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Funny, I searched for decent steak in both UK & Ireland . . .

I came away supposing it was being served at the same place you go to get a good cup of coffee.

Oh, you don't say. Put it in kidney pie, do they?

And that's a good for, what, the pie or the steak?
