This seemed to be an appropriate place to dump a bad parrot joke:

A lady approaches her priest and tells him,

"Father, I have a problem. I have two female talking parrots, but they only know how to say one thing."

What do they say?" the priest inquired.

"They only know how to say, 'Hi, we're prostitutes. Want to have some fun?'"

That's terrible!" the priest exclaimed, " but I have a solution to your problem. Bring your two female parrots over to my house and I will put them with my two male talking parrots whom I taught to pray and read the bible.

My parrots will teach your parrots to stop saying that terrible phrase, and your female parrots will learn to praise and worship."

"Thank you, thank you!" the woman responded.

The next day, the woman brings her two female talking parrots to the priest's house.

His two male talking parrots are holding rosary beads and praying in their cage. The lady puts her two female parrots in with the two male parrots and the female parrots say,

"Hi, we're prostitutes, want to have some fun?"

One male parrot looks over at the other male parrot and exclaims, "Put the beads away; Our prayers have been answered"

I've had the S.P.A.W. site bookmarked in my files ever since the 100 Uses thread. Sent it to a friend who got 30 pink flamingoes on her lawn as a benefit money raiser.You have to pay $10 and then you get to pick the next reciepient. Of course some call it indentured servitude (see SPAW site). rr

I can say it isn't the Waylon Heron as he was possibly piloting the UFO that Bill, Sam, and Ian saw the other night.......Peter has confirmed the possibility!

I just love this place......WE ALL HAVE WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON OUR HANDS!!!!!! Am I the only one who's cracking up over Noreen searching the net for "Spaw?"

I can definitely state that that is not the Waylon Heron, but its singing cousin, the Placido Flamingo. The Waylon Heron was abducted by aliens from Betelgueuse some time ago, redirected to their nefarious purposes, and though there have been sightings (it was reported to have become the Historical Advisor to "Pearl Harbor") no definite reports are in hand. I received an urgent e-mail the other day that suggested that a bird answering to the name of Waylon was given birth to on the season finale of X-Files, but apart from it being a thing with feathers, there is no resemblance. In the meantime, Spaw and I, like the Little Prince and his fox, are concerned about his fate, which troubles us.

It's true, this just came in. There's a nekkid heron loose in Kentucky and Mary in KY managed to get a great photo of it. We're concerned about it's safety and were wondering if Spaw could help out, maybe make Peter T give back the leather outfit or something!
