Manchester, England England
Across the Atlantic Sea
And I'm a genius genius
For I believe in God
And I believe that God
Believes in Claude
That's me
That's me

Now that I've dropped out
Why is life dreary dreary?
Answer my weary query
Timothy Leary
Dearie!

Stream of consciousness. Anybody recognize the lyrics? And refresh!

Wow!!

Just looked at your website Neil. I am really impressed.

We should ask the powers that be to put a mudcat link to it.

A suggestion - more info on singers nights as well as sessions?

Cheers,

Catrin

Neil - look at the date of Vicki's message! I don't know if she's still a regular catter. I haven't seen any posts from her since I joined in June.

Didn't know about your website Neil - I'll go and have a look.

Cheers,

Catrin (fromManchester)

Hi

read you message on 3rd Jan - sorry. There are plenty of bars in Manchester that have live sessions:

Peveril of the Peak in central Manchester Wednesdays has a play around - good musicians Ducie, off Lloyd Street, Chorlton on Medlock, Saturdays fiddler Danny plays and Wednesday there is a traditional folk song night mainly unaccompanied English.

Just going to bring this to the top, so that Sandy's question doesn't get lost. Take heart, Sandy, you aren't being ignored, the lurkers in Britain are just being too shy to speak up. Alice in Montana

Does anyone know of any good folk bars in Manchester, England. I know a few in Edinburgh. I'm looking for the places where you can find impromptu sesssions developing, if you know what I mean.
