Subject: RE: Help: BUNAC From: Lyndi-loo Date: 01 Aug 01 - 05:18 AM I work in a College library and several of our students have used Bunac for a year out (from Scotland to various parts of the world) and enjoyed it. I have lots of literature on Bunac, but nothing that isn't on the website, I guess. I think she should go for it! |

Subject: RE: Help: BUNAC From: Peg Date: 01 Aug 01 - 03:24 AM They seem quite reputable. I looked into working abroad in one of their programs when I was still under 26(the cutoff age). They are also very helpful in helping obtain affordable airfare and other travel stuff. Have not looked into them in years but I woudl imagine they are still going strong... Peg

Subject: RE: Help: BUNAC From: Coyote Breath Date: 31 Jul 01 - 10:28 PM email my kid at: mmalloy32@aol.com She has looked into many such organizations, I'm sure, as she is student coordinator for the Irish Studies Program at New College of California. A goodly number of their students attend Queens in Belfast so English organizations would be looked at. I'll email her that you might contact her. > |

Subject: BUNAC From: artbrooks Date: 31 Jul 01 - 10:24 PM Daughter is graduating from college this December and is seriously considering working in the UK for 4-6 months. Her plan is to get a job and make living arrangements through an organization called BUNAC. Their website is impressive enough, but do any of you UK Mudcatters (or anyone else) know anything about these people? |
