Well, in a little under 12 hours, it will be one week since this all began. It's been really hard on all of us, but it occurred to me earlier tonight, how it would have been just a little more unbearable if we couldn't come here and have a little taste of kindness, of sanity (at Mudcat?), and just a place to share our burdens for a little while. Even last Tuesday as the day was progressing and I was listening to NPR at work, the thought of "I really need to get on line tonight and talk to the people on Mudcat..." surfaced a few times. It's been such a relief to come and visit.
