Subject: RE: Al and Amy's yard sale From: CarolC Date: 29 Oct 01 - 02:18 PM Don't know about the National Geographic thing. Although you could be right. The first time I saw them was after they were married, and both had been playing music professionally for a while. Amy's a pretty amazing photogapher (and a talented artist, as well), but I don't know about any of Al's non-music talents. |

Subject: RE: Al and Amy's yard sale From: Wesley S Date: 29 Oct 01 - 02:10 PM I have several of their CD's and I've enjoyed them all. I remembered that they had recieved some Washington area music awards and that's why I guessed DC. Didn't Al once work as a photographer for National Goegraphic?? Or am I mixed up about that? |

Subject: RE: Al and Amy's yard sale From: CarolC Date: 29 Oct 01 - 01:57 PM Right in one, Wesley. They live in Takoma Park Maryland (USA). They're not only great musicians, they're lovely people as well. |

Subject: RE: Al and Amy's yard sale From: Wesley S Date: 29 Oct 01 - 11:40 AM Try www.fairewood.com - It's the website of Al Pettaway and Amy White. Two excellent Celtic type musicians. They live in the Washington DC area. |

Subject: RE: Al and Amy's yard sale From: SharonA Date: 29 Oct 01 - 11:25 AM They say items can be inspected and picked up in person, but they don't say where they are (USA? State? Town?). Likewise there's no email address, phone number or other contact info. I don't know if they're Mudcatters so I don't know if I can send them a PM. CarolC, how does one get in touch with these people? |

Subject: Music stuff: Al and Amy's yard sale From: CarolC Date: 27 Oct 01 - 03:38 PM I just got this in an e-mail from Al Petteway and Amy White. I figured I'd post it here since it's such an interesting assortment of musical and music related stuff.
And check out the kilt and the accessories that go with it (although I don't know if I would wear previously owned stockings myself). |
