Mariner, miracles have happened in the past--at least what appeared to be miraculous. Never give up hope. The finest medicine, and one which ALWAYS has effect? Love, my friend; love, love and more love. No matter the outcome, it's most of what matters to each of us, no matter what time there is left. It happened to me, but so quickly that only thrice was I able to assure Her of my Love;they were the last words she ever reacted to in this World. I was blessed in knowing that I helped in the only way possible; may it be likewise when the situation arises. for either of you. Boab

Hey Mariner.......Morty really said it. We're all going to die, just at different times and more importantly, we're all alive now. Drink, eat, and enjoy life in anyway you can and remember hope comes in all shapes and sizes.......Find some that fits. Our best thoughts are with you and your wife and family.

Pat

Ask KatLaughing about acupuncture, it worked for her. She is in the members area.

Mariner, look here. This site appears to be selling the original formula. There's a scan of a magazine article that's quite interesting.

At the site McGrath gave a clickie for, there's a link to a paper done by Univerity of Texas Center for Alternative Medicine.

My best wishes to you and your wife.

Damn it, DO get your hopes up.....remember she is AlIVE NOW.....be optimistic, be childlike in your hopes for tea, or massage or whatever.......now is all the time you have..it's all the time you and I and everyone else will EVER have....be hopeful, be joyous and be with her...

Terri the still recently bereaved.

McGrath,

I think your site says it all:

"There is no scientific evidence that proves that Rene Caisse's herbal formula alleviates, cures or prevents any disease or condition. "

Take care, Mariner, but don't get your hopes up.

You've probably got this site, but if you haven't it looks as if at least it's not rip-off merchants trying to sell anything.

I hope that someone here with direct relevant experiance comes in to advise.

There are definitely people on the Mudcat anyway who are thinking about you both. Look after yourself too.

Subject: essiac tea
From: MARINER

Some weeks ago I asked for advise regarding my wifes terminal illness and was grateful to recieve many letters of support and kind words and thoughts. My wife is back in hospital at the present with pneumonia, but despite that is still in fairly good spirits and trying very hard to remain so. Yesterday a friend mentioned Essiac Tea, which , he said, may help to ease her discomfort and might possibly regress her tumours. Has anyone any experience of this tea??.The reason I ask is because there are so many different concoctions out there, that I have been advised wuold help, and she obviously can't take them all, that I want to pick the right one. Any advise from anyone would be gratefully recieved. And thanks yet again all you wonderful MudCatters for the comforting words previously.
