Does anyone know where I can get backing music for 'i'll walk beside you' in key of E, my friend is a tenor and has been asked to sing at a wedding. He is 80 years old with a beautiful voice, please advice, orchestral music would be preferable thank you Rachael

I am also looking for the sheet music for "I'll walk beside you through the world today" by Alan Murray and Edward Lockton. I have the lyrics and several youtube versions of various people singing it but need the sheet music for my wedding in about three weeks time as we have a pianist who can only play from printed music (and not by ear). Please is there anybody out there that can help lie it would appear helped a Guest Wendy Watts about 10 years ago.

Hi, now I am the one desperately searching for the guitar chords for this very piece for a Wedding Anniversary party for my grandparents. I'll tried everywhere and can't seem to find it. Has anyone happened to across them?

Thank you all for your help. I have managed to get my hands on some sheet music for the song to give to the organist to perform for us.

The sounds clips are great and provide good ideas for how it should be performed.

Golly, that could be done as a hymn, as is or with a verse added about heaven. Lovely.

Wendy, I am sure you can sing this, learning it from the recordings above if necessary. Were you going to play it on guitar or is someone accompanying you, and if so what instrument? It would be just as lovely a capella.

There's an MP3 sound sample here. It's not quite a whole verse, but I think there's enough to accurately guess how it ends.

I have an old recording by Count John McCormack recorded in 1940. I will try to get you the lyrics tomorrow, but can't help with the chords. It is 1.30am here in Canada and I have to hit the hay, but will get on it as soon as I awake. Hopefully someone else may be able to get both the lyrics and the chords before the date required Condolences on the loss of your Grandmother.

Hi, I hope someone can Help. I urgently need the lyric's and music to I'll Walk Beside You written by Alan Murray. Kenneth McKellar was a Scotish tenor who performed the song.

I need the song to be sung at my Grandmothers funeral on 12 Feb 2002 as it is one of the songs she had requested.
