Subject: RE: Lyr Req: The Ballard of St.Anne's Reel From: Don Firth Date: 09 Apr 02 - 04:50 PM Ballard is district in the northwest part of Seattle, where lots of Swedish and Norwegian shops and boutiques (some of which do a huge business in lutefisk and lefse during the Christmas holidays). Many of these shops overlook Bergen Square. Not far away is Shilshole Bay, where a statue of Leif Erikson gazes out over Puget Sound. Is this a Scandinavian song? Don Firth |
