On the subject of the dangerous practise of Morris Dancing, this snippet appeared in the EFDSS magazine:

"Adding to the rural scene were the Albury Morris Men while the Berkhamstead British Red Cross stood by in case of need".

Or perhaps this advert for a Medieval Market might enforce the case for the prosecution!

"Morris Dancing, Pillory and Stocks, Folk Music, burning a woman alive and numerous other side shows. Bring the family!"


I'm only kidding of course, but appears that the said authorities weren't?
