Had a grand time at the Garden Party. The new Patio was Blessed, Dedicated and Christened. Large amounts of alcohol were consumed and a good time was had!!

Thanks for explaining, Liz - no need to be sorry, I just ask when I find words I do not understand and do not find in a dictionary...

Gayze bra.........is that like "star gazie pie" for underwear? eeeuw!

Parker and I are coming, we've just got to wait for the man to come and fix our dishwasher. Otherwise paradise might be at an end.............

and I promise I won't bring you a gnome.................

Sorry Andy - it's another word for Gazebo (pron. ga zee bow), alternately pronounced gazy bow.

Ours is a jolly green and white striped affair so it sort of fits being a gay zebra.

Although I like the idea of a gayze bra.... is it a bit like Bra stacks?

Wow, your punishments are hard...

Wish I could come... could be in celebration of my (yesterday, July 18th) birthday ;-) ;-) ;-)

Tell me, is a gayzebra what I think it is? No, it can't be a gay zebra?

Or is it a gayze bra? Hm. gayze is not in my English dictionary (as is gayzebra)...

Have a nice MudMeet on your Patio!

cu,
Andy/MudGuard

Gawsh, thanks.... maybe one day I'll get round to putting a photo or two up....

Tried to put the gayzebra up tonight... it's wider than the garden!

I wish I could make it. The garden sounds lovely, and quite an accomplishment as well. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a drive from East Ohio to East London *sniffle*. So I'll just have to have a bit of celebration here for your good work. (Foxes - even hollow ones - appreciate a nice garden.)

Seeing as this happens tomorrow and no-one has said they are coming, thought I'd better refresh.....

For those who haven't seen the 'taken 6 years but...' thread, there will be a gathering to celebrate the removal of the spoil heap that's been there for 6 years - and to officially inaugurate the Draper Patio with (as yet) no (new) bodies under it!

If you'd like to come and don't know where we are, we're in East London, bus, tube and parking are all close by and easy to get to.

For a more accurate address, PM me and I will tell you. If you know where we are, then you know the place to avoid.

Any contributions of food, drink, instruments will be gratefully used and abused on the day.

Anyone trying to misuse the watersnails or sitting on the petunias will be given the job of sitting with Bratling one evening.

Saturday 19th July, from about 2.30/3.00 onwards. Bring dead animal if you want, but it will be prepared in a decent oven or flame grilled over a proper hob! (Query, was it called a hob because it was as hot as hell - the abode of the devil, also known as Hob?)

LTS, Manitas and Bratling.
