Wait... this is about the TV show Big Brother?

Man... it's a BS thread if I've ever seen one!

I think it's fair to say there would have been a similar "outcry", from the mirror image of the opposing rival camp, if he had whistled a well known (Irish) republican tune.

I'd have thought those words from the Scottish song sung to the same tune are rather emphatically republican.

Would there be any controversy if a republican tune had been whistled?

How'd they know he wasn't whistling "The Scottish Breakaway"? With the chorus:

You really would need to have seen the episode to comment: depends on context, etc. Maybe he did it as a joke, like Craig Brown, allegedly, leaving "Follow, Follow", or similar, on his answerphone. Maybe not!

Personally, I only watched BB once, for two minutes, and that was enough to ensure that I never watched it again. Would liked to have seen the Cameron whistling incident tho!

Sad that I know this, but there is a big row going on about Cameron from Big Brother (UK) whistling "the sash".
