We had a music festival at one times called the 3 towns festival, however over the years people jsut didn't bother turning up for it. But in Irvine the have a Marymass festival and you can finsd out about it on the Irvine Folk club website. Tom |

Subject: BS: Saltcoats Sea Queen festival From: Tam the Bam (Nutter) Date: 12 Jul 03 - 10:15 AM Hello my name is Tom Hamilton, I don't if anyone would be interestedm however I thought I might tell that in my home town of Saltcoats which is on the south west coast of Scotland, we have a festival every year around about July. It last for 6 days, and there is quite a bit of things that goes on at it. the last day which is a Saturday, we have the crowning of the Sea Queen and then theres music, fun fair rides, and lots lots more. the Saturday things goes on from 1.00pm to late. So if you're come to Saltcoats or visted the website about Saltcoats Scotland, it will tell about the sea queen festival. Tom |
