Well, I just moved. But at the same time as I was moving, I got the notice that this is the year I had to renew my drivers license. This requires a trip to the DMV. However, the nice thing is, I was able to reregister with my new address on the drivers license application.

Just thought I'd let folks know that it's possible to do it that way in some places, in case they are at the DMV where they live to do business.

But Dean definitely is doing a great job, offering to register voters (or get them information) online. That dude certainly has the best organization out of all the Dems.

But would someone please let Bobert know that I saw Kucinich on The Daily Show tonight, and that he had a nice new blue suit AND a decent haircut. Why, he looked downright groomed!

To vote for either Dean or Lieberman you have to register as a Democrat.

Trying to mess up the other party doesn't make sense if you want a say in who your party's candidate is. If your preferred party is all sown up, it might have some benefit. Given that Bush is likely to have little opposition, I'd expect more Republicans to switch & try to mess up Democratic primaries than the reverse. If the Democrats end up with someone unelectable, maybe it can be blamed on the GOP?

Padre, you register to vote and you vote for Joe in the primary. You don't have to vote for Dean just because the registration link is on his site.

But what if you want to vote for Joe Lieberman?

Did just that last presidential primary season. Was rewarded less than two weeks later with an unsolicited, complementary, membership in the NRA.

But the local Repo party still has not sought my esteemed advice.

A friend of mine once came up with a not too bad idea; register republican and do your best to hamstring the bastards from inside.

Because many people move from their voting district, or have just neglected to register, or want to change their registration, I thought it would be helpful to give everyone this link to register to vote. Democracy relies on our participation. Here is the link:

Alice
