Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: ard mhacha Date: 30 Sep 03 - 04:26 AM Brendy, fair play to Tyrone indeed, 80,00 people present at Croke Park and no segregation of the fans, wonderful sportsmsnship displayed after the game by both sets of supporters. Considering the intense rivalry between both neighbouring Counties handshakes were exchanged between old rivals wishing each other the best of luck next year, and the Tyrone supporters applauding the Armagh team as they made there way on the team bus, can you imagine this happening between rival Soccer opponents?, and my oul mate John from Dungannon digging my ribs for the snide remark about the Tyrone peoples ability wuth a PC. No hard feelings as the Trophy is only on loan until nrxt year, and good luck to the Tyrone team in the Diving event at the next Olympics. Ard Mhacha. |

Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: Brendy Date: 29 Sep 03 - 08:39 AM Fair play to Tyrone, all the same. It's good to see Sam getting passed around a bit. I got an SMS the other day from a mate of mine: What do you call a Tyrone man with an All Ireland medal? An Irish dancer. Guess that isn't true anymore! C'mon the wee six! B. |

Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: belfast Date: 29 Sep 03 - 07:43 AM I seriously doubt that anyone from Tyrone will sitting at a computer -either nursing hangovers or still celebrating in some bar or other. Hard luck, Armagh, but I'm just happy to see an Ulster team win. Again. |

Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: ard mhacha Date: 28 Sep 03 - 04:25 PM Sadness ,sorrow, bloody awful feeling of defeat, couldn`t be lower, ah well, there`s always next year. Anyone from Tyrone reading this, enjoy the moment, ours lasted a full year, the first win after waiting over 100 years is beyond words, but God am I sad. To our great Armagh team, you were gallant in defeat, and will always be our heroes, Ard Mhacha Abu. Ard Mhacha. |

Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 28 Sep 03 - 02:40 PM There was a time I could have seen this on the cable, but they shut down Tara. Sounds like it was a good close game though. It's a shame they couldn't both win. Anyway it was a great thing to have an all Northern final. |

Subject: RE: BS: Árd Mhacha Abú From: Brendy Date: 28 Sep 03 - 10:34 AM Well.... Paul Brady wants Tyrone to win (obviously, I suppose); Martin O'Neill wants Armagh to do it... (he did, last year anyway). Robin Eames wants it '... to be a great game', and half the town and country wants 'the best team to win'. A DUP councillor for Upper Bann had never heard of either county, nor did he hear of the match, never mind know what the sport was. ... will be a great game though. No Sky Sports here; have the pleasure of listening to Michéal Ó Muircheartaigh over the internet. Tyrone ahead by 1 pt..... B. |
