Subject: RE: Tech info re MIDI standardisation From: GUEST,MMario Date: 29 Sep 03 - 09:07 AM basically for the same reason any 'language' needs to have standardization. Subject: Tech info re MIDI standardisation From: Fay Date: 29 Sep 03 - 09:05 AM Hello, Not a very trad. folkie subject, but hey the world is a changing, so I thought someone here might be able to help. I need to know why MIDI had to be standardised and what the problems were leading upto and during standardisation. Answers in as plain English as can be managed would be appreciated - I'm not much of a techno buff yet! Thanks, Fay xx |
