Gosh, how did I miss this! My secret santa's birthday! I hope you had an enjoyable day even though you had to say good-bye to a dear friend. I'm terrible about e-mails but I have been meaning to write and thank you for the most interesting cd. I'm planning to take it with me to Wash. DC next month when I go down to help a dear friend celebrate her 50th. She and someone else down there are avid birdwatchers. Will PM more later, but I've been busy planning a trip to England in March and April and my mind has been pre-occupied.

Anyway, I'm glad this thread finally got my attention and I will be in touch soon. I'd like to get to know you better. Australia has always been a place that has fascinated me but a place I'll probably never see.

Thank you so much my dear friends. I was whisked away on my birthday to sing "The Parting Glass" for an old friend. Almost 91 he was and he died like a gentleman with his watch on, after giving himself a shave and shower. Now I've arrived back home to find your greetings. It's a wonderful thing this family.
