Check out Google - it seems to be a reputable company, at least. Is it something that interests your daughter, and is she independant and self-confident enough to go door-to-door? I think those may be the most important considerations.

I guess I'm taking an interest as the mother of a teenage daughter who is also looking for something different to do this summer!

Where are you, Juno? There are lots of camps and summer schools that hire young people from all over the world. Much more rewarding than selling books, I would guess.
If you wanted to join Mudcat, you could then PM me and I could give you some information about a few camps in southern New Hampshire, where I live.

Not a musical question and apologies for that. Has anyone had experience of Southwestern Company? Our daughter is a student and is interested in doing their summer vacation programme in USA which is just selling books. We're worried about it all. Has anyone got experience/advice?
