Subject: RE: BS: Gas station rip off artists From: Donuel Date: 25 Mar 04 - 04:07 PM It was suggested to keep all pics in one thread. OK by me. By Ian Hoffman Staff Writer Alameda Times-Star 3-25-4 The oldest West Coast customer of Diebold Election Systems is calling company exec-utives on the carpet today, citing "disappointment and dissatisfaction" with Diebold voting equipment. Alameda County, the first and, until recently, largest user of Diebold touchscreen voting machines in California, warned the McKinney, Texas, firm this week that it is "not adequately performing its obligations." Voting industry observers say the warning marks perhaps the first time that a U.S. county has lodged a formal contract complaint with a manufacturer of electronic voting systems. After his phone inquiries to Diebold went unanswered, Alameda County Registrar of Voters Bradley J. Clark wrote a letter Monday invoking the performance clause of the county's $12.7 million contract. ... http://www.angelfire.com/md2/customviolins/dieboldca.jpg |

Subject: RE: BS: Gas station rip off artists From: LadyJean Date: 25 Mar 04 - 12:53 AM Much as I loathe admitting it, I remember when Nixon resigned. I wouldn't mind seeing George W go the same way. I'd especially enjoy it if he was looped for his resignation speech. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gas station rip off artists From: Donuel Date: 24 Mar 04 - 07:27 PM Will the CIA's Bush (any of them) ever face charges? No, it won't happen. Bush was careful to not sign the world court accord. But it sure would make for a great C-Span extraveganza that would rival Clinton's impeachment. The last time a US vice president, Aron Burr, faced treason charges he was found innocent...despite the evidence. Now lets imagine a HYPOTHETICAL case where incontravertible evidence is presented by participants of a renegade US airforce outfit pointing to the office of special orders and specific people who ordered the destruction of our own buildings in NYC... Hypotheitically... Do you think a terrorist/treason trial of those respondsible would ever happen? It would be a miracle for the witnesses to survive long enough to testify, but a Bush trial would sure be more fun to watch than Survivor or even a House of Commons fist fight. http://www.angelfire.com/md2/customviolins/bushloop.jpg |

Subject: RE: BS: Gas station rip off artists From: Peace Date: 24 Mar 04 - 03:25 PM Very understated, Donuel. I will come visit you in your jail cell when the NWO happens. That is, if they let me out of mine. I agree with Bill D: Why hold back? |
