Subject: Lunchtime Folk Sessions Fleetwood UK From: GUEST,Penny Black away from the Cookie Jar Date: 29 Mar 04 - 04:54 AM BACK INTO ARC Penny Black Folk Duo fund raising for Arthritis cure Local Folk duo "Penny Black" (Pete Skinner & John Bond) became involved with ARC (Arthritis Research Campaign) "Make Music Live" money raiser last year in conjunction with Gordon Giltrap's incentive, this resulted in collecting at local music sessions and a regular Tuesday lunch folk session at The Steamer Htl Fleetwood. The total collected was £1760.00 which will be presented to ARC representative Jenny Robson at The Steamer Htl, Fleetwood on Tuesday 6th April 2004 at 3pm after a new Lancashire folk music session from 11.30 am till 2.30pm. It is intended to continue the successful Tuesday Lunchtime sessions at the Steamer throughout 2004, once again to raise money for ARC and everyone is welcome to come along and join in, and help raise some money for this very worthy cause.
