BS: Health, wealth or happiness ?

Happiness.

The ability to be happy even if you're poor & sick would be wonderful. And what good would wealth & health do you if you felt rotten?

But we don't really get to choose.

Aren't we lucky that most of us don't have to choose between them. Mudcatters who do have health concerns often turn here first, and some have gotten invaluable help and information. Having gone through an unhappy period that I think caused my health problems, I know there are linkages between them (Dad died Nov. 11, 1997, Mom died May 28, 1998, I got divorced in 1999, and I had surgery for uterine adenocarcenoma cancer in 2000).

I sure could use some more money, now that I've sorted out my health and happiness issues. :-)

Give me enough wealth, and I would try to create happiness. On the other hand, having happiness could motivate me to gain wealth and as for health.......Ah - confused meslf again.

I'll be content with what I'm given.

Well, I haven't experienced much of either health or wealth in my life, so I guess I'm stuck with happiness.

well wealth buys health and happiness (sort of) but I enjoy health and choose happiness, and apart from owning my own home those are the limits of my riches.

It can make one complacent - hopefully not too much.

This must be a deal-with-the-devil sort of thing is it, because if you had health you must by necesity have at least a degree of happiness deriving from it and a degree of wealth, without which you would not have been able to obtain it.

Assuming then that it is a Faustus sort of arrangement, give me happiness.

With happiness, who needs the other two?

Having had all three at various times in my life, I'd opt for Health every time...Without it, happiness is difficult to maintain, and all the money in the world can't always buy your health back for you..xx..e

If your life is in balance you will have all three. Wealth need not only be measured in money. It is having the resources to live your life the way you want to.

Wealth can bring health and happiness.
Health can give a chance to create a life of a wealthy happiness, or a happy wealthiness.
