Have a good trip and remember - pack for an English summer - that means sweaters, heavy coats and storm gear! (Joking, it's positively tropical out there today!) LTS |

Subject: RE: BS: SOS - alison needs london accomodation From: Liz the Squeak Date: 15 May 04 - 04:30 AM Nearest tube to us is the District line (green) Upton Park, but it is probably easier to go to Stratford on the Central line (red) and get a black cab from there - it will save you a long walk with cases/whinging children etc, and also means you get to travel in another of London's landmark transportation systems. Unfortunately, Manitas is in Whitby with the car so I can't offer transport anywhere until Tuesday. PM me with details and I'll PM you our address back if you would like to come. LTS |

Subject: BS: SOS - alison needs london accomodation From: alison Date: 14 May 04 - 07:07 AM unfortunately our London accomodation has fallen through due to other committments.... I will be in London (on my way to Ireland from Oz)Mon 31st May flying out again Wed 2nd June..... there will be 2 adults and 2 kids (the kids are house trained!! - aged 10 & 8 - ask Bill & Lorna Sables - they've met them!!) anyway what I would dearly love is if anyone has a spare piece of floor for 2 days.... we won't be any trouble.... just intending to go sight seeing..... so all we need is a roof over our heads at night.... and it would be nice to meet some other mudcatters in the process..... so if there are any kind hearted London 'catters who could help please contact me ASAP thanks slainte alison |
