Anyone else out there unhappy with their Fido phone? I want to hear about it before I take the plunge & disconnect my land line, but have heard Fido is one of the best. Any other recommendations for a cell phone plan. I've had it with the high cost of Telus. KSW

Yes I'm customer, however problems with phone
have caused unbelievable delays, service is terrible.
Returned shiny 3 mon.old phone, was not functioning.
They returned a used-refurbished phone, scratched, a big dent
and still I haven't got my battery back.

Delays, phone calls and the runaround have cost me about
20 hrs in lost time, still waiting for battery, entertaining
possibility of lawsuit.

Fido.............has TERRIBLE service !!

          Have V-60i piece of junk !

been a fido customer for more than four years. Unfortunately with all there new programs the service has hit bottom. In toronto i loose half my calls thats if they go through at all. I'm considering chnging to a anothe cell company soon but of course i will have to change my number. what a boor

I am a fido city customer since oct. 03 switched to it because they could use my old land line ph. # which I have had for too many years to want to go through the hassle of trying to let old friends know I had a new #---basic for unlimited calls $40.00 extra features like call fwd. call display. voice messaging. adds $5.00 plus taxes of course very pleased with it. have not as yet been charged for anything above that. only drawback is not being able to use fax program as I no longer have a land line. I am sure you found a referrer, but that is not why I answered this. just wanted to give a good service a plug (unpaid of course.) [e-mail]

Rosie is the household dog, almost smart enough to have her own phone. I didn't know cell phones required "plans" and Fido (to me) is a dog's name. Wow, the world moves fast! I had this image of Rosie sprinting around the yard with a phone in her mouth, not an unhappy image.

Mooh, Fido is just a cell phone company that I'm about to sign my soul over to. I don't know if this makes me hip or not, but I suspect not, as I'll be getting the no-frills phone hidden at the bottom of the page. Who's Rosie the Wonderdog?

Wow! We have a computer, a phone, a dog, and absolutely no idea what this is about! Before I do an internet search someone please tell me this won't involve Rosie The Wonderdog.

$20 in excess charges last month $200 this month...good lord protect us from seeing the third month.

Hi gang. I'm soon to get a cell phone plan from Fido and I'd like to find another customer to refer me (we would each get a $20 rebate).
