I'm not sure why I should reply to argumentative people who refuse to identify themselves even by a nickname, but if you're insinuating that only Mudcat members may use Esperanto, that's one of the silliest insinuations I've run across this week.

I'm a "member" of AA, too, and people seem to think that involves some sort of pledge.

In case you genuinely don't know, "PM" refers to a "backchannel" Personal Message from one Mudcat member (regardless of Esperantism or otherwise) to another.

Anyhow, George, it's on its way.

With a "members only" sign it is easy to understand why Esperanto never became popular. Arn't you guys expected to take a pledge, or something, to further its advancment?

Guest, George Seto includes his email address in his "name", and if you are not a Mudcat member you are not in a position to PM me. If you are a Mudcat member, "Haruo" is sufficient.

Haruo, please send a copy to myself. I have a friend who would appreciate it. She's been studying/corresponding Esperanto for many years.

I guess I should specify that all but one of the songs in the booklet are in Esperanto (the exception is the fragmentary "Plastic Zamenhof"), and the other materials are all in Esperanto too except that there's an English crib or pony (in the sense in which crib and pony are near-synonyms) to the worship service program bulletin.

I also translated (ad hoc) and we sang (quite enjoyably) the national anthem of Liechtenstein. Will type up the lyrics and include with the materials if anyone requests them.

In Boise last weekend at the Northwest Regional Esperanto Conference (NOREK) I was in charge of leading singing, and I put together a 20-page booklet (lyrics only) of which I distributed about 30 copies. Any Mudcatters who might be interested in having a copy, I can email it to you as a Word attachment. Just PM me with your email address.

It includes a wide variety of material, some of which I believe has never been in typeface before.

I also led the worship service Sunday morning (preached on "Family Values" from Hosea 1:2-10!) and would be happy to send you a copy of that program, too. Also Booker T Washington's Atlanta Compromise speech and two works of Melville's should you desire them... It was a busy few days there. ;-)
