Subject: Hull Singers against Racisum [Sunday] From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull Date: 17 Sep 04 - 04:45 AM Hello, There is an anti racism gig at The Ringside pub,Beverley Road, Hull, on Sunday Night, it starts at 7.30pm. Folkie duo Cracktown are appearing, [they are quite famous in and around Hull, they run the session at The George, in The Land Of The Green Ginger, attend Oddfellows, and The Lamp and Adelphi [all on Beverley Road]. Young female singer Jenny Bromley is also doing a spot, also band called The Displacements [never heard of them, but there probably good]. There is a small admission fee, but all money raised goes to an anti Racist charity called Unite. The Ringside is opposite that hospital that isn't there any more, [the one they knocked down]. |
