Subject: RE: BS: Business plans From: Bassic Date: 09 Nov 04 - 10:13 AM What do you want to achieve?.......How are you going to achieve it?.........and how do you tell if you are successful or not?............if you have covered those broad themes then to my mind you have a plan. Subject: BS: Business plans From: muppett Date: 09 Nov 04 - 09:55 AM I've got the task of writing a business plan for a voluntary community organisation I work with, So far I've written about what the organisation is involved in at the mo.,done a local community profile, including census information and other stats, what community consultation has been done in the area. Then gone to on to describe what the funding will used for i.e. to recruit staff to run the Community complex (a centre manager, youth worker, admin worker, caretaker & cleaner)Ive also included Key milestones, how the project fits in with local, district & regional strategies, described key partners & their roles, management structures, policies, described what other local provision there is, so to show that there isn't dulpication going on, done start up costs, cash flow forecast, sources of funding, risk factors and monitoring systems, but I STILL FEEL IT'S NOT COMPLETE, anyone got any suggestions. |
