Subject: Lyr Req: Wellingtons army From: Bunnahabhain Date: 09 Dec 04 - 07:49 AM No idea of era, but I remember hearing Martin Carthy singing some of it on the BBC. I remember: " Red is the blood of Wellington army, shed in the course of many campaigns" Other British Generals, battles etc in there as well, I think, but can't recall details. DT and google have both drawn blanks. Any help would be good. |
