Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Susan A-R Date: 13 Dec 04 - 11:49 PM I'm still amazed at the liberal/radical image Howard Dean has elsewhere. He was considered borderline Republican here in VT. He never did that sort of scream here in his 11 years as Gov. Even if the establishment Dems are worried about his scream (which doesn't worry me a whole lot, having never heard it in his native habitat) I'm somewhat concerned that none of them are picking up on that grass roots message. Do they want to harrow their base and keep losing? Susan A-R in Montpelier VT. |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Once Famous Date: 13 Dec 04 - 06:15 PM me show some respect? You are the epitome of a double standard, Amos. You sure can dish it out, but you can't take it. How Weird Dean is a loser. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Amos Date: 13 Dec 04 - 06:08 PM Martin: Howard Dean is more intelligent, coherent, accomplished, compassionate and insightful, than you and the whole Bush Cabinet locked up in a one-holer outhouse together -- which come to think of it is a pretty good idea. Show some respect for your betters, you abusive, foul-mouthed, microcephalic neanderthal. :) Ah, that feels much better. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Once Famous Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:25 PM Typical response, amos. Read what I wrote. Howard is weird. You are also quite a lunatic posting 100s of times to a thread that a few like minded people read. That's more than weired. It's sick in the head. I know people who were there and it was not doctored. How weird!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: GUEST Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:11 PM "The scream" was uttered in a raucous room full of jubilant supporters who probably didn't hear it, even amplified over their own joyful noises. This was not as much fun to report, however. It is more fun, perhaps, to remember it as a moment of lunacy. But it most certainly was not. Remember that Karl Rove indicated early on that he was much more afraid of having to run against Dean than against Kerry. If Dean is NOT chosen to lead the party, I may follow through on my threat to leave the "Republican lite" party, after all. If the Dems will not represent me, why should I be there? |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Amos Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:07 PM Martin: A big step forward. Recognizing your weirdness is a problem is the first step to handling the problem, and I commend you. You may not have heard the news that those tapes of Howard yelling were doctored, out-of-context synthetics. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Once Famous Date: 13 Dec 04 - 04:55 PM It's not me, man. It's Howard. Or should I say How weird? Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Bobert Date: 13 Dec 04 - 08:56 AM Like I've said many times Cruiser, the best way to beat the Repubs is to paint a much different vision for the country. Howard Dean, John Conyers and Dennis Kucinich are about the only Dems who are doing that. If one wants to call that vision liberal, fine... Who cares?... If yer running against Karl Rove yer going to get branded one so you might as well be one. Bush-Lite ain't gonna win nuthin' except 2nd place finishes for ever... Bobert |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Cruiser Date: 12 Dec 04 - 11:40 PM Besides Mr. Bush, the main reason I have a problem with my Party is the religious zealotry. Other than that, my Republican philosophical views clash diametrircally with those in the Democratic Party. Sans the right-wing fanatics, I want to remain a Republican. |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Stilly River Sage Date: 12 Dec 04 - 11:07 PM If you want to change what the other party is doing, then you have to join that party. The topic has come up here before, and it cuts both ways. I'm a democrat, for now, and I'm not scared of Dean. |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Cruiser Date: 12 Dec 04 - 08:21 PM Bobert, You are missing my point sir. I voted AGAINST Bush this past election. I want your Party to get a viable candidate next time so I can help get rid of the overtly religious zealots that the Republican Party has become. Yes, if I were a Democrat I would be scared of Dean. |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Bobert Date: 12 Dec 04 - 08:09 PM Thanks, Cruiser.. Couldn't get a stronger endorsement than from a Repub. who is also scared of Dean... Bobert |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Cruiser Date: 12 Dec 04 - 08:02 PM Dr. Dean is one of the worst things that could happen to the Democratic Party. What is wrong with those people...what are they thinking (they obviously aren't). The man is may be a MD, but he is a fool. He is NOT just what the doctor ordered for DNC or the Party. Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Deckman Date: 12 Dec 04 - 02:00 PM I watched the entire program. Dean made more sense to me now than when he was running his campaign. I also was VERY pleased at the second half of the show, wherein the military "shakers and movers" seem to be admitting that things are not going well in IRAQ. And "they" did lay out a huge warning ... get ready for a draft in two years. At least that's how read there comments. CHEERS, Bob |

Subject: RE: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: maire-aine Date: 12 Dec 04 - 01:34 PM I saw the interview. I hope the folks who vote will consider him seriously as DNC chair. He is serious about re-building the party at the grass roots, esp. in states that went for GOP. Like he says, there aren't red states & blue states-- they're all different shades of purple. Subject: BS: Howard Dean on Timussert this morning From: Bobert Date: 12 Dec 04 - 10:12 AM Howard Dean will appear on "Meet the Press" this morning and hopefully will be making a case on why he is the best candidate to be Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, which IMO, he is most undoubedly is... ... that is if the Dems ever plan on winning another national election...
