Subject: RE: Festival of Blues in London From: Folk Form # 1 Date: 04 Apr 05 - 05:46 AM I meant to say that Michael Messer, Son of Dave, and D77 are due to play on Wednesday 6th April and not the 3rd. My apologies. |

Subject: Festival of Blues in London From: Folk Form # 1 Date: 04 Apr 05 - 05:43 AM Is anyone going to the Festival of Blues at the Spitz in London? It is being held throughout the month of April and includes artists who, frankly, I have never heard of before. These include Michael Messer, Son of Dave, and D77. They are due to play on Wednesday 3rd April. On Sunday they had The Mutts, Daddy Fantastic, Son of a Preacher Man and Teasing Lulu. Are these people any good and more specifically, are they the blues. I looked at the website for The Mutts and they seem to draw their inspiration from MC5- a great band, but hardly the blues. |
