Home again. Aa very good weekend. The weather was just what i needed. The folk club on the Saturday night was a hoot! I've sung in some odd places before but never in a chinese takeaway! I felt so sorry for Gwyneth and Pete who were hosting it. I think it went well tho. G & P are running the folk club at Bishop's Castle Folk Weekend too by the way.

Really nice to meet Keiran Halpen at last. Great set. A man who can write few words that say so much.

Well done Hilary and Julian.

Thanks to the Schantieman for his help. And thanks to Mandotim and Webfolk for wonderful catering. That plum chutney is to die for! Oat cakes? Yum... Ta Geoff.

Sal

Having a dozen g-strings secreted upon one's person sounds a little worrying?

Don't say that! Last gig we did I surpassed my own record and broke four! BTW, Jude will be bringing the shawm but will be keeping it safely tethered and under heavy sedation to prevent it from attacking passers-by.

See you tomorrow!

Break a string Chris - see you tomorrow. I am bringing spare CDs of "The end of the road" with me. Could Jude bring the shaum along?

We bought them this afternoon, along with the cheese, olives and Sal's oatcakes. It looks like we have a grand touring party with us, and a celebration breakfast is being planned for Sunday for those who wish to share in our anniversary.

We went last year to see Spiers and Boden, the Demon Roadshow and the divine Christina Olsen. It's a lovely little festival. Unfortunately we can't make it this year.
