Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: Kim C Date: 26 May 05 - 09:41 AM Okay, I get it. The thing about Bridget was only a dream. Gawd, I hate the way they edit teasers now. Thanks everyone - I know what I wanted to know. :-) |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: frogprince Date: 25 May 05 - 06:44 PM Yes, the dream about Bridget was the husband's; you know the writers are messing with us, taking a little different tack, making us wonder if HIS dream will come true literally, or what significance it will actually have. |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: jacqui.c Date: 25 May 05 - 06:28 PM She mostly gets her messages through dead people - her father in law and the sherrif when he 'died'. Otherwise it all comes in dreams that she has to make sense. Wasn't it the husband who had the dream about Bridget or am I just dreaming? |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: TheBigPinkLad Date: 25 May 05 - 06:21 PM Surely there can't be a cliffhanger as the medium would already know th outcome ... ;o) |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: frogprince Date: 25 May 05 - 05:54 PM Yeah; Push almost told Alison the killers identity, or at least critical information, while he was "dead" briefly from his attack, but, after reviving, couldn't remember what he had learned. I'm pretty sure he wanted to stop the killer so badly that he is counting on learning the truth, and telling Alison from the other side. |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: Kim C Date: 25 May 05 - 04:40 PM I saw the very end, where he clipped the wires off. What was the deal about Bridget disappearing in the department store? Was that just a bum teaser to get people to watch? |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: GUEST,synopsis from another site Date: 25 May 05 - 03:45 PM Redheads were being murdered, and Alison went to the crime scene, and saw a vision of the Texas Ranger from the first episode, and he told her where to find the evidence. Then he came to Arizona to help with the investigation, because they had an unsolved string of murders in Texas, and he thought it was the same guy. The killer was leaving clues with a Bible quote, Isaiah something (not good with the Bible quotes!) The Ranger appeared to Alison in a dream and told her the victims were related. Then he landed in the hospital with heart problems, and they were going to do surgery on him. The Arizona cops discovered the victims had the same father. At least the two Arizona ones. Can't remember about the Texas ones. Alison and her husband were arguing a lot about her weird work hours. She was at the hospital with the Ranger and she told him she'd see him in the morning after his surgery. Then she left, and he cut all his wires with nail clippers and died. Then we saw the "to be continued..." on the screen. |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: wysiwyg Date: 25 May 05 - 03:30 PM I gotcha, Kim. It ends as a cliffhanger-- continued next season. Near the end we seen him using the comb and nail clippers he had requested. First he phones Allison to see if she got home OK. She's lying in bed crying because she got home too late for the hubby's bottle of wine and she's all stressed out and bummed to have let him down again. (He's asleep on the couch.) So she's pretty brief with the Captain and doesn't realize he's saying a kind of goodbye. Then we see him roughly comb his hair. (I thought he then shrugged rather philosophically.) Then he starts using the clippers-- to snip the leads hooking him up to cardiac machinery. Monitors or external pacemaker, I dunno, but it seems he's either heading out to work or deciding to go ahead and die. Maybe he thinks that from death, he will be able to help Allison with another vision. I dunno. It was all dramatic and ambiguous. ~Susan |

Subject: RE: BS: Does anyone watch 'Medium'? From: Kim C Date: 25 May 05 - 01:52 PM I already read the synopsis on the website - it doesn't tell much, and certainly doesn't spoil anything. But thanks anyway. |
