Mmm, talk about odd ball fishes... Being able to see and make sense out of four different optical fields of view simultaneously? Being livebearers that can/do only mate on one side, right-"handed" males with left-"handed" females and vice versa? Umm, the Anableps can live on land, moist for extended periods of time... The family is known in the sciences as "the four-eyes, one-sided livebearers and white-eye"...

Looks like some of the doubled up things around this place lately. Have you noticed that in the Members profiles the names are double, the photos are double, and some of the info is double?

Could make you wonder if you'd imbibed a bit too much if you were seeing it for the first time. Or you might see everything four times......
