Prolly not, Sins, but, hey, the CD ain't nuthin' compared to real folks doin' what they do...

Yeah, I'm gonna make it fun... Heck, it was back 'round '69 'er '70 when my rock band was thinkin' about doing an album and we never had it together enough to do it (sex and drugs an'...) and it has always weighed on me so this is gonna be fun...

The studio is way back in the sticks in Mississppi and I'll be stayin' in a trailer on this guys farm where the studio is located... We're gonna get my part done in 3 days and then other folks will come in later and add their stuff to it... Gonna be intense but I like intense... Gets my foot stompin'...

Then, after I'z wored myself out playin blues, my buddy who owns the studio and I are going to West Point, Mississippi fir the Howling Wolf Blues Festival and hook up with all the Tweezerins from TweedsBlues and Daniel "Rev' Slick" Ballenger and Rory Block gonna be there and we are gonna party all night long...

Well, well, well...

Seems as if I have enough support to buy new strings fir all 3 guitars I'm takin' to Mississippi... That oughta help a bunch since the ones I've actually been performin' with are old, mismatched and somewhat bastardized...

Be careful what you ask for, WYSuzie... The recordin' in gonna occur in Mississippi but the mixin' and masterin' probably up here in Luray which is just a hop, skip and jump fir ya....

Wierd thing is that I shopuld be practicing and makin' notes and all that stuff but I really haven't even settled on a song list???

But one thing fir sure, I'm gonna have a couple alt country songs mixed in wid the blues and maybe even an alt gospel song...

("Alt gospel", Bobert???... Like maybe you'd like to explain that one???)

Yeah, I din't want to say nuthin' 'bout this but I'z leavin' fir Mississippi on the 29th and will be spendin' 3 days down at a buddies studio in Thaxton, Ms. for 3 days of recordin'.... He's got studio harp, lead and base players awaitin'...

Oughtta be fun and hopefully later this year I'll have a real CD out...
