Oh, wow! I sure hate to miss such an informative discourse by Amos. I also missed seeing him & the gang at the big jam which he had kindly invited me to--it was just a couple of days after I left. wah wah.

Glad you're back and OK.

I don't think that too much happened while you were gone - the Getaway came and went but is still in evidence on the 'Getaway Reflections Here Thread'. It seems that while momentous events are happening for some the world just keeps n turning and it's life as usual for the rest of us.

About a month ago, I got a call for help & went down to Texas to help out an elderly relative who was flooded out. Little did I know that I was to be caught in the worse flooding aftermath. It was an amazing experience in camraderie & seeing Americans at their best, but I wouldn't want to do it again. So--what cattin' fun did I miss whilst I was away & offline?
